The manpower industry has tremendous scope in Pakistan. Our country relies heavily on remittances from foreign employment, and Pakistani workers continue to be known — the world over — for their honesty, hard work, and dedication. That reputation isn't something we take for granted. It's something we work to protect with every placement we make.
The importance of this industry keeps growing. Unemployment remains a real challenge at home, and every year, hundreds of thousands of young Pakistanis look abroad for the opportunities they can't yet find here. The Government of Pakistan has opened more than 80 countries for foreign employment, and the Middle East continues to lead the way in welcoming our workforce. But with nearly 400,000 young Pakistanis entering the job market every year, our industry carries a real responsibility: to keep identifying new destinations and keep diversifying where — and how — our people find opportunity abroad.
Pakistan's labour force works and resides across the globe, with the largest concentration in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Saudi Arabia and the UAE remain our largest destination countries — and among the largest sources of remittances flowing back into Pakistan's economy.
